In Otumoetai College, strong traditions exist in music, choir, drama and debating. Team sports and outdoor activities are an important part of both school life and leisure time. Sports facilities include a fully equipped multi-sport recreation centre, gymnasium, indoor heated swimming pool, hockey turf, netball and tennis courts. The college also has spacious sports fields for rugby, soccer, hockey, cricket and athletics.
